Be Bold. Be Brief. Be Gone.

Be Bold: How a Marine Corps Hero Broke Barriers for Women at War tells the story of Major Megan McClung, a USMC Public Affairs Officer. Maj McClung was by accounts a pioneer who simply refused to acknowledge the existence of any form of glass ceiling.

As a Marine PAO, Maj McClung had a simple piece of advice for fellow Marines when providing briefings to senior officers or engaging with the media:

Be Bold. Be Brief. Be Gone.

This book is an easy read that tells the story of one PAO’s journey.
